The Ile-de-France, is helping local craftsmen and SMES to switch to clean vehicles

In order to combat the pollution of the air, the region Ile-de-France has adopted this 7th day of July, 2017, a support system for craftspeople and businesses of under 50 employees to help them buy their own vehicle. Details.
The region Ile-de-France will provide up to 9,000 euros in aid for the purchase of a clean vehicle. This device, adopted unanimously on Friday, July 7 by the regional council, is aimed at artisans and companies with less than 50 employees. The goal is to help replace their old vehicles with electric vehicles or CNG (natural gas for vehicle) and thus combat air pollution while allowing them to adapt to the requirements of the traffic areas restricted around Paris.


This device replaces a previous “who had not known a great success because it was not perfectly adapted to the demand, “said Chantal Jouanno, the French vice-president in charge of the environment within the regional Council.


In concrete terms, this aid will be 6,000 euros for a light commercial electric vehicle or CNG (GVW less than 3.5 tons) and 9,000 euros for an electric utility vehicle or CNG (PTAC including 3.5 tonnes and 7.5 tonnes). For this device, combined with the aid of the State, the region is going to devote a budget of 4 million euros.
