Saint-Gobain, the group of construction materials announces the July 24, 2017, having signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the capital of Kirson. It is a German manufacturer of grids of reinforcement and combined products based grids and fabrics non-woven.
The French group of construction materials, Saint-Gobain has announced, on July 24, 2017, the acquisition of the German company Kirson, specializing in the schedules of reinforcement for the waterproofing of roofs, flooring and building panels. Even if the amount of the acquisition has not been disclosed, the activity of Kirson will be integrated into the pole High Performance Materials of Saint-Gobain, said Saint-Gobain, in a press release.
“These solutions primarily serve the markets of the waterproofing of roofs, as well as those of the flooring panels and the construction”,the full Saint-Gobain. The turnover of the company Kirson based in Neustadt an der Donau in Bavaria amounted to nearly 27 million euros in 2016.
