The countdown has started for the future reform of the Labour code, set as a priority by Emmanuel Macron. For the Government of Edouard Philippe, the day of June 28, 2017 was a knock-off of the reform with the presentation of the draft enabling law by the Council of ministers and in the wake of an “explanation text” to the minister of Labour, Muriel Pénicaud. Warning from the State Council before the passage of the bill in the national Assembly
A warning, however, before the draft enabling law to be presented on 4 July 2017 at the economic Affairs commission of the national Assembly and discussed in the Parliament from 24 to 28 July, the Council of State considered, June 29, 2017, in its first opinion that “some of the clearances provided for in the bill are likely to cause an inflation of legislative drafting”.
