According to the barometer of Prism’employment, staffing temporary workers in the construction sector have achieved a nice performance in may 2017.
Across all sectors, temporary employment has grown by +6.3% in may 2017, compared to the same period last year, compared with +8.2% in April. “This slight slowdown must be interpreted with caution, the activity of the month of may traditionally being disturbed by the bridges and the holidays”, note the observatory Prism’employment, for which these figures are derived from them.
In the construction sector, temporary staffing has increased from 7.1% in may. “The development of temporary employment is still worn by the trades of the most skilled : +7.6% for executives and intermediate occupations, and +7.5% among the skilled workers”, note the authors of the note.
The geographical distribution of the staff growth reveals a dynamism particular to Britain (+11,9%), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (+11.3%), and the Burgundy-Franche-Commté (+11.2 per cent).
