Group Nox retained for studies of the highest tower in Africa




The office of study nantais Group Nox has been selected by the consortium CRCC-GTCC to conduct missions of engineering around the project of the future tower of the Moroccan Bank of foreign Trade in Rabat. The building of very great height must shortly enter construction.
This is a great project and a mark of recognition for the Group Nox : CRCC, the group of chinese construction, and GTCC, the leader of the construction in Morocco, have chosen to carry out the missions of the office of study design and execution for the construction of an impressive tower of 250 meters. The French company will also conduct all of the studies BIM of the book and will participate in the obtaining of the environmental certification LEED Gold level.

 

A building very luxurious

 

The skyscraper, which will be built in Rabat for the account of the Banque Marocaine du Commerce extérieur (BMCE), will have 55 floors. It is the work of architects Rafael de La-Hoz and Hakim Benjelloun. The base will house an auditorium of 350 seats, as well as shops and services. The first twelve floors will house offices, while the apartments will be established between the 13th and 26th level. Finally, a 5* luxury hotel will take up his quarters in the upper floors, while the last four levels will be restricted to accommodation of very high standard.

The construction is scheduled to begin in October 2017 and spread over 40 months. The investment necessary for this imposing building is 277 M€. The project was led by Othman Benjelloun, the chairman of the group BMCE.

 

Group Nox joined the company LBE Fluids (ex-subsidiary of EDF)
During the summer, the Group Nox has taken control of a former subsidiary EDEV (EDF group), the company LBE Fluids, it is located in Tours. Created in 1993, this unit of engineering is specialized in mechanics, electricity and plumbing to intervene in various sectors such as industry, housing, commercial or health with a predilection for the technologies of thalassotherapy and spa treatments. The entity is involved in the council in the genius thermal, climatic and electrical, in the design of large kitchens or in the management of the data. LBE Fluids, which employs 15 people, is heavily qualified : it is certified EGR, Opqibi, Passivhaus, Icert and EGR NF. It integrates the BIM in their process of design from 2015.
For the Group Nox, this acquisition allows it “to strengthen its territorial coverage on the region Centre-Val de Loire” and “his expertise in the technical areas with high added value,” while expanding its portfolio of clients and architects.
