Capeb and the OPPBTP have entered into an agreement of partnership aimed at advancing the profession of locksmithing-metals in the field of prevention of occupational risks.
A convention of partnership with Capeb, the professional Organization of prevention in the CONSTRUCTION industry (OPPBTP) and the Institute of research and innovation on health and safety at work (Iris-ST) will lead to the realization of a study job on the metalwork-metals. The analysis will focus specifically on the production of books in the workshop.
It will analyze the work situation to highlight the risks of the job and improve working conditions. A commission for the improvement of working conditions metalwork metals will be established in order to assess the avenues of progress that will be made from.
Involving employees in the process
The study business will be carried out by health professionals in-company in the premises of three companies which volunteered. Care will be taken to involve the employees of the company, and, if applicable, manufacturers and suppliers.
“The objective of this work is to improve the working conditions for both appeal to the young and keep in good health those that are present”, explains Gilbert Olivet, president of the national Union of artisanal Metalwork-metals of Capeb. “This study will help to identify sources of improvement and introduce the solutions on the ground through the network of the organization.”
