A new delegate general for the French Renewable Energy Syndicate




Alexandre Roesch has been appointed Delegate general of the Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables (SER) in replacement of Damien Mathon, who has spent six years in this position. He will commence his duties on July 3, 2017.
After more than thirteen years in the SER, including nearly six as ceo, Damien Mathon has left the union to take over management of the Federation of commercial Agriculture and the Federation of Trade in Agriculture and Food (FC2A). Jean-Louis Bal, president of SER, said : “I warmly thank Damien Mathon for its effective action in the service of our businesses and the strengthening of the team of permanent union is today composed of more than twenty people“.

 

To take his succession to the position of general delegate, the board of directors of the SER approved the appointment of Alexandre Roesch, the current director of institutional relations for Solar Power Europe, the european association of the photovoltaic solar energy. The latter is a graduate of the Institute of political studies of Strasbourg and holds a master in Law and environmental management from the university of Montpellier. Jean-Louis Bal continues : “I would like to welcome Alexandre Roesch, whose detailed knowledge of european issues will be a significant asset for our organization at a time when open discussions of major at the community level on the future of our industries“.

 

Recall that the SER brings together all actors of the renewable (bioenergy, wind, geothermal, hydropower, CAP, solar, etc.), or 360 members, representatives of 100,000 direct jobs and 10 Bn € turnover.read also
