FACT VARIOUS. A building of fifteen floors, in the process of demolition, collapsed on a nearby building in La Courneuve (Seine-Saint-Denis). Two casualties are to be deplored.
A building being demolished has partially collapsed onto a nearby building Wednesday, 26 July 2017 at La Courneuve (Seine-Saint-Denis), carrying two wounded, including one critically touched, a-t-on learned from the fire department. The fire occurred around 17: 30.
The demolition has proved “stronger than expected and a number of materials are fallen”, according to the fire department. Two people were injured, one seriously and the other slightly. “We don’t know if they were occupying the building”, said fire fighters. The rest of the building that partially fell do this for the time being no risk of further collapse.
